We Knew It!

 Did you see the New York Times article "You're Never Too Old for Yoga" by Amanda Loudin? I was so delighted to read this informative article today. I admit that much of my excitement was pure confirmation bias. It mentions so many things that we at YogaSole believe and have practiced since Evalena started the studio in 2008. We honor everyone as an individual, assist each student in creating their own practice with supportive props and modifications, and know that the ways in which bodies move, as well as personal motivations, can and do change over time. We also know that committing to your yoga practice means being able to spend time on the mat (or chair) but also being able to take those lessons into the world in a Yoga is Life - Life is Yoga outlook. 
Today seems like as good a time as any to publicly announce that we have a new initiative at YogaSole for 2023. For all community members 85 and older, we will be offering a free unlimited yoga membership for life. It's not automated (yet) but we are excited to honor our elder community members in this way.
