Dear lovely yogis and community members,
We know that staying healthy is on the forefront of many minds and even more so with the recent cases of Coronavirus reported in New York. From all of the information that we have gathered, the current advice is to take similar precautions as have always been advised throughout the cold and flu season. We wanted to take a moment to reassure all of our community members that we are continuing to pay close attention to the cleanliness of the studio by sanitizing all fixtures at least twice daily, washing all textiles regularly, and airing out the studio as much as possible between classes.
We ask that if you feel at all unwell in any way, please take as much time at home to feel better and return to the studio when you are no longer showing any symptoms of communicable illness. We encourage everyone to wash their hands with soap and warm water when entering the studio (or any public space). While 20 second hand washing is recommended as the best approach, we will also have hand sanitizer set out in the lobby. In addition, please make sure to sneeze or cough into a tissue or the crook of your elbow to contain any potential germs and wash your hands after.
During this time as we notice a feeling of general unease or uncertainty, we know very well the power of yoga to help us breathe through those feelings as well as stay present and attuned to what is truly important in our individual and collective lives. We look forward to practicing yoga with you now as much as ever. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us via email or phone.
