Dear YogaSole Community Members,
As we make our way into the first week of 2022, I find myself filled with hope at the possibilities that lay in front of us as a community. While 2021 ended on an unexpected note, I (still) find myself looking for the silver linings. I really enjoyed the freedom that came with moving the studio online during the holidays. I think we have just started a new tradition that gives our teachers and students more ability to enjoy the holidays, family, and travel while still staying connected to their practice and each other.
I chose this theme because Having the opportunity to come together in person earlier this year after such a long time of being separated by distance felt spectacular! And coming together for Yoga in particular is even more meaningful as the most basic and ancient intent of yoga is to bring us into union with ourselves, with one another, and with the world in which we inhabit. This year we will be embracing opportunities to create unity within us,unity between us, and unity among us.
In this year of Unity, we have so many fantastic changes approaching for the studio and the community.
This month we will be making a major shift by changing our software from Mindbody to Wellness Living. I know that there will be a learning curve when we go live with the change but I also know this is a wonderful opportunity for YogaSole as the Wellness Living platform is easier for clients, employees, and teachers to navigate. In addition, it will streamline many more of our processes creating a simplified and unified experience for the business such as virtual classes and eventually allow us to build an online video library.
Next month we will be hosting our now annual Love Thyself Yoga Challenge. Last year, this challenge was such a fun way to stay connected to people, continue embracing intentions set in January, and achieve some balance. This year we will be able to offer some of the classes on the Pop Up schedule in the studio, which feels even more special. In addition, we will have prizes to give to all of the people who are able to complete the challenge by taking at least 24 classes in February. I’m already excited about getting to take classes from all of the teachers over the course of the month.
Looking further forward, we are gearing up for a schedule full of new offerings, retail experiences, and the return of outdoor classes in May. We look forward to uniting with you in wellness through community this year. It’s going to be a great one!
