Classes that are designed to be accessible to all students. A great place to start or to return. 

Specific Goals

From therapeutic to restorative to vigorous, each of these classes have specific goals. Please read the descriptions carefully to see if it is a good match for you.

COMMUNITY: FLOW Open to the public and suitable for all levels of experience, our weekly community class offers a rotating cast of newly certified teachers. This gentle flow class pays special attention to the breath and alignment. We will include traditional postures series along with other dynamic movements and ending with a restorative pose or series of poses.   ​Class is charged at a sliding scale from $20 - $10 Tuesdays 6 pm, Thursdays 6 pm, Saturdays 9 am	RENEWAL YOGA Renew your connection between breath, body, and mind with this accessible yoga session. You will explore movement and meditation in a supportive practice that will help you stretch, de-stress, and reboot.   Mondays 11:00 am ​
COMMUNITY: SLOW FLOW Open to the public and suitable for all levels of experience, our weekly community class offers a rotating cast of newly certified teachers. A gentle class with special attention paid to the breath and alignment. We will include some traditional posture series along with other slow dynamic movements and restorative poses. This class is appropriate for all levels including those new to yoga and seasoned practitioners.​ Class is charged at a sliding scale from $20 - $10 Wednesdays 7:30 - 8:30 pm	SALUTE THE SUN YOGA Salute the Sun with a whole-body wake-up featuring sun salutations and variations to get you moving first thing in the morning.
​RELAX: RESTORATIVE YOGA Savor the end of your weekend with this delicious,mindful class, ideal for anyone looking to indulge their senses with the mind/body. Class begins with a myth to set the tone for the evening, followed by slow movement to help you unwind and prepare for deep meditative yoga nidra relaxation. Practice mudras, or hand exercises, to stimulate and soften different areas of the brain. Move into deep meditation with music and mantra to enhance your state of bliss. When you leave class your body and brain will be seriously satisfied. Fridays 9:30 am	​ STRENGTHEN: FLOW This class is designed to open up the body while also building muscular strength.  You will be gracefully challenged to try new approaches to asana (postural practice). Tuesdays 9:00 - 9:50 am & Fridays 8:30 - 9:20 am
RISE YOGA Begin your day with breathing, centering, and awakening movements. In this class you will engage muscles in strengthening poses and your mind in creating a positive energy as you prepare to shine throughout the rest of your day.    ​Mondays 7:30 am ​	THERAPEUTIC YOGA ​A class designed to work slowly with a focus on breath, body awareness and strengthening. Ideal if you have had recent surgery, chronic pain, or just need to work more slowly. Also terrific for our more “mature” students. Tuesdays 9 am, Thursdays 11 am, Saturdays 4 pm ​​
​ STRETCH: FLOW In this vinyassa style class you will be moving though a variety of traditional flows as well as dynamic movements. With a focus on creating stretch in the body, modifications and variations will be offered.  Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:00 pm	​​YOGA TUNE UP® In this class, you will move through a combination of self massage techniques with The Roll Model tools, along with poses from the Yoga Tune Up® framework to work toward achieving poise. Each class will be a mix of rolling, strengthening, stretching, and movement. This class is designed to welcome students of all ages, shapes, and experience. Wednesdays 11:30 am
YIN YANG YOGA This class will balance two sides of energy in yoga. Yin focuses of the passive, deep, meditative practice associated with the moon. The energy is directed to the deeper layers of connective tissues, with special attention to the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Postures are held for a longer time with the support of props. Yang focuses on dynamic fluid movements that create internal heat and the stimulation of the energy centers. Often associated with the sun, here we work on the more superficial layers by lengthening and contracting the muscular tissues. The combination of the yin and yang energy aims to create a profound balance of inner and outer strength and flexibility. Suitable for all levels.  Sundays 4:00 pm, Fridays 11 am	YOGA TUNE UP​® STRENGTHEN Invite health and wellness into your being on all levels: Release tension in muscles by rolling on foam rubber therapy balls, maintain healthy range of motion in joints through simple dynamic movement, return the body to correct alignment with specific yoga-based corrective exercises, soothe your nervous system through purposeful conscious breathing. All levels/ages are welcome.  ​​ Mondays 9:30 am
​YOGA BLEND A blend of yoga traditions, using the breath and movement of Vinyasa, the alignment of Iyengar and the heat of Ashtanga. Classes are taught by teachers who have studied more than one yoga tradition. In this class, students will explore their strength and flexibility through a series of postures that incorporates twists, balancing, and some inversion. Through exploring the body’s subtleties, you will build your endurance, deepen your stretches, and increase self-awareness. Explore the Asanas, Breathing Techniques or Pranayama, and Meditation. Wednesdays 9:30 am, Thursdays 8:30 am, Saturdays and Sundays 11 am	YOGA NIDRA Transform stress into deep relaxation for your body, mind, and emotions with this delicious, meditative class. Class begins with gentle movement to help you unwind. Restorative postures help you get comfortable. You will then be led through a guided meditation. Beginning with gentle breathwork to harmonize body and mind, we then focus on individual areas of the body to release tension and stress, entering into a state of complete relaxation, or yogic sleep. When you leave class your body and brain will feel calm and rested. 1st & 3rd Sundays 7:30 - 8:30 pm
