Join Us for this A 2- hour workshop focusing on the needs of a runner’s body, whether you are setting out for your first miles or tackling the marathon distance (and beyond). This class features self massage on therapy balls, breath work, simple stretches, and strengthening exercises, to keep you moving towards your finish line, one foot in front of the other.
Rhonda began her study of movement and breath as a runner. She incorporated yoga and meditation into her training as a way to balance the high mileage and mental focus required for long distance running in marathons and ultra-marathons.
While you won’t be doing laps around the studio, Rhonda’s classes feature a mix of strength and recovery, encouraging mindfulness and personal intention.
Rhonda completed her 200 hour Teacher Training with Ariel Kiley and Yuuki Hirano at Dou Yoga in Brooklyn, and is an Integrated Yoga Tune Up ® instructor. She is a also a Certified Level 1 Coach with USA Track and Field (USATF) and coaches for City Coach and Jack Rabbit running programs.
